The day before you came - ABBA

Một trong những ca khúc để lại nhiều xúc cảm nhất của ban nhạc huyền thoại ABBA, bài hát The day before you came. Mời các bạn cùng thưởng thức!

Songwriters: Ulvaeus, Bjorn; Andersson, Benny

I must have left my house at eight, because I always do
My train, I'm certain, left the station just when it was due
I must have read the morning paper going into town
And having gotten through the editorial, no doubt I must have frowned
I must have made my desk around a quarter after nine
With letters to be read, and heaps of papers waiting to be signed
I must have gone to lunch at half past twelve or so
The usual place, the usual bunch
And still on top of this I'm pretty sure it must have rained
The day before you came

I must have lit my seventh cigarette at half past two
And at the time I never even noticed I was blue
I must have kept on dragging through the business of the day
Without really knowing anything, I hid a part of me away
At five I must have left, there's no exception to the rule
A matter of routine, I've done it ever since I finished school
The train back home again
Undoubtedly I must have read the evening paper then
Oh yes, I'm sure my life was well within its usual frame
The day before you came

I must have opened my front door at eight o'clock or so
And stopped along the way to buy some Chinese food to go
I'm sure I had my dinner watching something on TV
There's not, I think, a single episode of Dallas that I didn't see
I must have gone to bed around a quarter after ten
I need a lot of sleep, and so I like to be in bed by then
I must have read a while
The latest one by Marilyn French or something in that style
It's funny, but I had no sense of living without aim
The day before you came

And turning out the light
I must have yawned and cuddled up for yet another night
And rattling on the roof I must have heard the sound of rain
The day before you came

Light my fire - The Doors

Mời các bạn cùng thư giãn với ca khúc Light my fire của nhóm The Doors.

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love become a funeral pyre
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire, yeah

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn't get much higher
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire
Try to set the night on fire

Students: Empowerment comes through Journal Writing

Students, as a Social Work Practice Advisor and Teacher I highly advise that if you want to be honest, upright, and engage in a workplace environment that is your vocational calling, then it is time to sit down and start writing daily, if possible, like before you go to bed.

Writing helps to keep your heart and soul linked with your mind. Trust me, too often in my life, I was operating from the head of intellectualism and rationalization but through daily journal writing, I got connected to the person that I was meant to be. The journey was long. Many ship wrecks, but nowadays, my vocational calling is built on a mission and purpose. Like Palmer Parker, once I got my heart and soul connected, then doors opened, blessings, and God's grace flowing here and there.

Friends of Social Media, take heed to what you have heard in class from our Instructor, Fr. Joseph Vu Huu Hien. He has asked you to write Journal Entries on Daily Gospels. This might seem a bit challenging; and you might want to start simply sharing an ordinary day you encountered with yourself. soon you will find that the Gospels will become relevant and real to you as your heart opens.

As an English teacher in Pronunication and Conversations, so many Vietnamese students lament that they do not write well. I am convinced it is not they can not write, it is they do not know how to write. They know how to talk but not write.

Daily practice writing will help you in the long run

Students, I had the same problem you had when I was in high school and college. I was not a good writer. I could not express what I wanted to say. I thought I had to use big words to write, but really, I learned, I write just like I talk.

But here i am today. So many students and friends want me to write a book.

One thing to get centered on your writing is to think what gives you most compassion in life. Write about it. Or another idea is to find a book that says, "This is me". Examine the writer.

Like today, I spent the day reading about Palmer Parker because his writing is relevant material to read, because I believe his writings is relevant in Vietnam. I am convinced the more teachers, professors, and students look to the heart and soul, teaching and learning will be relevant.

As i look at titocovn.com online postings, I would say, we are making progress at least to keep our postings relevant to Christian life, church renewal, church and family life. We still need a writing group that is committed to unveiling the multiple layers of masks that we wear in church and outside the church. When we can simply wear our true face inside church and outside church, we are travellers with Footsteps like Jesus and St. Theresa of Lisuix.

Flower selling project

I tell you my friends in flower-rose-selling project: Thanks to the project, I learned from you, I truly appreciated when we together went through hardships over the past several days. I learned from all of you, especially from a painstaking girl who taught me how to overcome daily obstacles and respect possessions achieved through hard working. She reminds me of my mother's maternal spirit and my 82-year-old grandmother’s sacrifice for me.

I've won friendship, working hard mental sense and experience in business affairs. So, the lesson I got is, “If I wanted to build a bridge to an isolated island, I would build it all by myself”. Understanding the valuable life I am given and honoring my given possessions are far better than win a high profit business, right?

Dear my friends, here do we get the bottom line is: we lost but still had fun though!

Facebook initiative

Facebook is too famous for a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People are too familiar to use Facebook to keep up with friends, to share links, to share photos and videos of themselves and their friends, and to learn more about the people they meet.

However, many people become Facebook addiction. It starts off with a simple exploration of your friends on the site and suddenly you are logging on 10 times a day to see if any of your friends have made updates to their profile, changed their relationship status or have posted new videos or articles. You are glued to your computer monitor and the only thing on the screen is Facebook. This is especially true when many applications and games are available on Facebook. You go online thinking you're going to do something useful like research a paper, read news, or improve your knowledge and suddenly the urge to visit Facebook pops up. You decide to give in to that urge, and the next thing you know it's two hours later and the only thing you've accomplished is that you've leveled up in Mafia Wars twice and done a complete renovation to your virtual cafe at Cafe World. Your time will disappear, day is shorter while there are hundreds of things you want to do.

Make Facebook worth spending time
Hence, what is the solution for that? Some people try to control the time on Facebook, but it is not a good solution. This is the reason why we are here.

If you can not give up, why don't make it more useful. We are here to introduce you the helpful applications on Facebook. Hence, the time you spend on Facebook is the time when you can learn, work and even earn a lot of money.

Our applications are widespread. They can be applications for Facebook users who want to change their Facebook wall to books with new knowledge, or for those finding suitable jobs. Moreover, they also provide services for companies, organizations who seek employees and want to advertise their products. Besides that, more and more people become Facebook users and most of them have special skills as well as knowledge on particular fields. Hence, why don't make Facebook become a big-cloud brain which can help everyone solve their problems thanks to other abilities. This is our biggest goal.
